This place always surpasses my expectations. The doctors are pleasant and tell you as much information as possible. I’ve taken my sick pup and my new family member multiple times. I highly recommend them.

I am the Executive Director of Felines & Friends New Mexico and have been working with Smith Vet Hospital for over 10 years. They have treated hundreds of our rescues, some of whom are not always the most cooperative. We routinely present the veterinarians with tough cases and the outcome is not always what we hope for. However, each cat is treated with expertise and compassion. We couldn't help as many cats as we do without having a walk-in clinic that is open 7 days a week and with extended hours.
We are still adjusting to the non-traditional (no appointment/ walk-in) format, though after three visits we like the staff and vets a lot. We have had two well checks for an elderly cat and one problem visit for a 70# dog and both animals required coordination with our former, out-of-state, vets. In the case of the dog, they managed to sort out records from three places in a single visit without any delay in his care. I love their service. I love Dr. Mike Dobson. Been going there since 1990's. Mike and other staff do their great job. Your fur babies will truly love your staff and of course Dr. Mike Dobson.
