Well, over the phone Dr. Land told me that the procedure to help my cat, (who was having a urine blockage problem) was going to be about $600, when I arrived to pick him up and pay my bill it was over $800! WHAT?????!!!! They should have informed me by phone once the bill went over what she quoted me..that did not happen and it should have. These people are all about the $$$$...makes me sick. Front office staff rude and incorrect information posted on times. I am a longtime client and will no longer be taking our pets to Smiths.
Very sweet and caring to my new puppy.
We’ve been clients for close to 2 years, when we moved here. Well we are no longer clients. They had 3 phenomenal vets - 2 left and 1 is leaving. I brought my dog there in May - he was wobbly and falling and hard of hearing. I wish I could remember the Vets name, it was a male. Anyway, he had the nerve to tell me it could be “mind over matter”. Really? Wtf kind of answer is that. Horrible.. just rude and horrible.. I called ahead of time to make certain you would see my dog because I am not an established patient but you are one of the few hospitals open.. I explained that I was injured as well and that I needed my animal cared for.. you showed zero compassion by saying yes and then coming out to the parking lot and informing me that since I was not a patient you wouldn’t see my dog.. how absolutely heartless.. never will I recommend you nor will I be bringing any of my 8 dogs to you.. ever.. Smith Veterinary has been there through two pet emergencies. Their staff are caring, kind, and professional. I would highly recommend and would never go to another vet. Thank you for helping my pups!
I have had good experiences at Smith but just had a very disappointing exchange with a Dr. Truijillo. My dog is not eating (end of life) and I asked for suggestions. She asked if I wanted to keep trying or just give up. Wow. The other doctors there have been so helpful. I’ll avoid her next time.
