To fulfill wishes for children who have been touched by Cystic Fibrosis. Our goal is to give these children, along with their families the opportunity to "take a breather" from CF and focus on creating magical memories that will stay with them for a lifetime. Memories that will strengthen their hearts and minds as they battle the psychological, emotional and economic turmoil that accompanies life with Cystic Fibrosis.

First let me start by saying, THANK YOU, which is not enough to express our heartfelt gratitude for Dehleana’s unbelievable Take A Breather -Trip to the Florida Keys. This amazingly beautiful experience allowed her wish to come true as she was able to swim with the Dolphins! I want to thank the Take A Breather Foundation from the bottom of my heart for making a wish come true by sending me and my daughter, Emma, on a Disney Cruise. After being hospitalized for CF exacerbations 3 times in 3 months and numerous surgical procedures the following 2 months last summer, it was wonderful to go away. I was so overwhelmed by the kindness of TAB and Molly, Joe, and Bruce. My daughter and I both cried when they presented us with the wish. Take-A-Breather is an amazing foundation who gave my daughter Jonelle and all of us the chance to breathe for a while. Jonelle is 7 and had been wishing she could go to Disneyland and you all made that happen for her. She got to stay in a hotel that was beautifully decorated for christmas that she called HER castle:) She said "my dreams came true" when she met Elas and Anna. The Take A Breather (TAB) Foundation is quite simply, WONDERFUL. The care, concern and attention to detail demonstrated by this foundation is second to none. Our son had long wished to take a trip to see his favorite NFL team (Eagles) play at Lincoln Field. TAB made our boy's wish come true in a big way. They took care of every detail, transportation, lodging, great seats at a Wild Card playoff game and a jersey with his favorite player's number, in addition to a few other things.
