My GP has ordered a mammogram so I can start HRT ASAP, I called and was told there's no appointments till March! I've since tried calling back multiple times and can't get through. I'm just hold on for ages and ages... Not a good service.
The receptionist was professional and courteous and the specialist ensured the appointment was quick, smooth and stress-free. Plenty of parking available right near the building, which made everything very convenient.
Fantastic staff and service offered by Breastscreen QLD. I was able to check in have the scans and leave before my 15 min free parking was over. The biggest letdown is the lack of signage- there is absolutely no signage at all advising where this clinic is located. I parked in the wrong area and had to go into the hospital to ask, thankfully the next carpark was easily accessible and I didn’t need to pay parking in either location. luckily I was early for my appointment, as it was impossible to get a park on the road, so then I HAD to pay the fee to park, then due to lack of or no signage I wondered around for some 15 minutes, I called the phone line and that said we are unavailable!,,finally I asked some staff up near the main hospital, again they wanted to only tell me where it was, not show me (but finally did take me down to where I could see the doors, which also had no signage...then the clinic was not available inside either, understandable as y... read more
