I have never been treated so rudely by a medical professional's office. I'm shocked at the crass response to a query about my billing. After the numbers didn't add up and I received a curt reply from the imaging office, I asked my insurance to reprocess the claim and they determined the amount should have been "a provider write off, not billing the member. I have gone to Breast Imaging Center for 3 years now. I have dense breast tissue and almost always have findings which necessitate a 6-month follow-up. I love the immediate feedback from Dr. Patel. She is kind and thorough and I found the staff to be efficient and competent.

I, too, have tried to call several times, yet no one answers, and I never receive a callback. Just like other reviewers have noted, they waited years before sending me a bill for an 'outstanding fee' that is highly questionable. If I could give zero stars, I would. My initial visit was uneventful, and I received no bill. The following year, I had another appointment—again, no bill. It’s nearly impossible to speak with someone on the phone. They don’t return messages or emails and I’ve left multiples. I moved out of state (NY) and my new doctor has requested images. Trying to request my own images should not be this difficult. Extremely frustrating.
