Schedule somewhere else!!! Plenty of other places in Atlanta. If I could give zero I would. Such a disappointing experience. Scheduling was a complete nightmare to begin with and just when I think it was correct I spent 3 hours from outpatient admissions to waiting for them to tell me they do not do the screenings I was scheduled for. On May 26, 2026, I had a scheduled bilateral mammogram (cancer sucks!) at Northside Atlanta Breast Care Center (1000 Johnson Ferry Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30342). After navigating the large facility and arriving for my appointment, I completed the mammogram and was instructed to return to the waiting room while the doctor reviewed my results. This was my first mammogram, and I was nervous based on the bad reviews, but my experience was GREAT! I had a 7:30am appointment on a Tuesday, the scheduling department advised me to get there at 7am for registration, to not wear any deodorant, oils, sprays, lotions, etc. They did not tell me where to park, but I used my friend "Chatgbt" lolol, and it advised to park in the "PINK" parking deck, and it even suggested to put in my navigation "Pink parking deck", which worked. Avoid mammograms here at all costs beyond a simple annual mammogram. I had a callback appointment which my gyn and technicians all reassured me was a very common occurrence for a 1st ever visit, but no one warned me that this would not be covered by insurance. (As an aside, this callback appt took 3 hours - 2.5 of it waiting around) First, the hospital bills me for the callback visit during the visit (1st visit is covered), which is surprising but I figure OK maybe 2nd appointment is not 100% covered, but then receive anothe... read more
The customer service at the Atlanta location is just horrible. The immediate attitudes you get from the ladies at the front desk is just beyond me. Everytime you call, it never fails it is just unpleasant. I mean this is a breast cancer center and the first empression we get is from customer service and they are just HORRIBLE. Its discouraging and it has really mad my mind up not to return. It's unfortunate for the radiologist because they are pleasant but even to hey a return call on your results is like pulling teeth.
