I have had wonderful experiences with Breakthrough MHC. The space is beautiful and inviting, and the therapists provide excellent evidence-based treatment. I have also referred several individuals who have reported that their treatment was highly beneficial.

I was initially with Aasma who was great. After she left, I have had the pleasure of working with Shafeena who is also wonderful. She is helpful and reassuring. It is very comforting to be able to work with women of color, more specifically women who identify as Muslims. In addition to religion, Shafeena has a well established understanding of the South Asian culture which has been very imperative in order for her to be resourceful. I look forward to continue working with Shafeena and I definitely recommend this practice.

I've worked with Shafeena for quite some time now, and she has helped me navigate some very difficult stages of my life. She is understanding, empathetic, kind, and highly knowledgeable. Since I've started, I have seen immense progress. The Breakthrough office is also warm and cozy, which makes for such a relaxing environment. Just being there alone can be therapeutic.
