A beautiful space that is rarely busy (VERY different in the holiday season), with attentive staff and great takes on Asian fusion dishes. HIGHLY recommend the RBF, ube pancakes, and Vietnamese coffees and cocktails.
I’ve been here about 10–15 times over the past two months, and I think that says everything. I kept planning to try somewhere else, but the food always brought me back. The pancakes are incredibly fluffy, the bacon is perfectly crispy, and the pork fried rice is amazing. The bánh mì is one of the best I’ve ever had, the pho fries are absolutely delicious, and the Vietnamese coffee is some of the best I’ve had. The crab Benedict was excellent. We had banh xeo tacos, pho banh mi dip, grilled port bahn mi. Tacos was fantastic. Sweet, savory with right mix of crunch veges you would expect from normal bahn xeo. Essentially very very crispy banh xeo shaped like a big taco. Dip was also great. Such a good flavor combo. Pho as a dip was just brilliant, and the green sauce added the right amount of spicy and fresh herbs, balancing out the richness of the broth. Food arrived cold & spaced out by 20min with me & my date. Kept asking about status and they kept saying “its coming out right now” and then it didn’t. Didn’t get good service until manager took over
I’ve been here four days in a row, and I think that says everything. I kept planning to try somewhere else, but the food kept bringing me back.
