We had a lovely 2 week stay here. Booked direct on their website for a great deal. The manager was very helpful when we arrived after hours (unfortunately arriving from overseas we hadn't received their email advising us how to access our room). Wonderful ocean views. Apartments are individually owned, so some are in newer condition than others - ours could have done with renovation, but our room rate was so good it was fine. Tram, beach and supermarket all within short walk away, We would definitely stay here again.

Great location in walking distance to Northcliffe surf club and cavill Ave, beach markets and more. Huge apartment, beautiful view from every balcony

Checked in on 6 May 2026. We were excited to stay here as the photos on booking.com and Breakfree website showed really nice modern clean rooms. When we walked into the room we were absolute shocked. It was so dated like something in the sixties and it was absolutely filthy. Room didn’t look as though it had been cleaned in a long long time. The bathroom was riddled with mould everywhere. We stayed at BreakFree Long Beach for a special trip. It was my partners first time overseas and my first in over 15 years, celebrating our 10-year anniversary so we were really looking forward to it. The view was great from the 24th floor. On arrival, the kitchen looked recently updated and was a great first impression as the photos in the booking showed quite an old kitchen. The bathroom was in a poor state of cleanliness.
