Where do I start? We got to our room and there were dirty towels in the washing machine from previous clients. There was dirty cutlery in the cupboard hidden under a bowl. The room was dirty, the shower had hair and pubic hair in it and was mouldy and gross. The couch was peeling and old the spare bed mattress was all stained. Handy location at central heart of Surfer Paradise however the street downstairs is way too busy and noisy. We were a bit struggling at check-in as no any code of key lockers were sent to us (reception closed at that time). No Wifi/toilet tissue were provided until we asked.

Have been coming here for years, last time was 2008. Unfortunately the room I was in was below average. The overall appearance seemed OK at first, until you start realising the details. The separate toilet had numerous tiles missing, the toilet seat looked quite old, with scratches on it for some reason. The sliding glass doors in. We asked our agency to place us in a room at the top of the hotel (secretly with the reception). it was done as soon as we checked in. The rooms are clean, very clean floor. It's unfortunate that we couldn't open the window of our bedroom to air it. It's noisy at night with the attraction to the left of the hotel. Location is bad for the swimming pool too but service at the top.

This stay was an issue from the minute we arrived. Did early/pre check in - paperwork stated level 11, on check in got given a key for level 3. Ended up on level 7 after some rearranging. Once we got into the room, there was a condom wrapper and ear bud in the bedroom, floor was filthy. Top of cupboards were dusty. No clothes line to hang clothes. Both bedroom windows leaked.
