This is a feedback for Breakaway management from a Carrboro resident customer. I like the atmosphere and food of Breakaway but the service is often a hit and miss for me. Today, June 21 in the afternoon, I went with my wife and daughter and I ordered a breakfast/brunch plate with whole wheat toast. Instead of whole wheat, which I had before several times at this location, I was given white toasts. I asked the waiter (a woman in a blue dress) if I could get whole wheat as I have requested. Really great food. They do table service after you order but you do have to wait in line to order (note if youre bringing friends). The staff was great with recommendations. They also made a great cup of coffee.
I always have a really lovely experience here. Staff are incredibly friendly and authentic and food comes out quick
