The food was good, well presented, but nothing special (had cheesy bread and olives, Mac and cheese all 'eh', kale salad was quite good though!). The service was absolutely terrible. The server was awkward and slow; we didn't get our second round of drinks until our main dishes came (ordered at the same time) and getting a straw seemed impossible! Never got one from our server, had to ask someone else twice! Super disappointed at such bad service on such a slow night. Will not be back anytime soon.
What a disappointment. The "Bread Sampler" had 5 slices of very bland wheat bread. My old fashioned cocktail was so watered down it was pink and served in a tall glass. The creamy Parmesan dressing was the consistency of water. I will never go back and will suggest my friends avoid Bread and Cup.
I thought this was one of the most bland meals I've ever had. When I told the server how disappointed I was with everything from the bread board sampler to the mac and cheese, she just shrugged her shoulders and said they were known for their mac and cheese. If they had done just ONE thing to make the meal better I would not be posting this bad experience. No flavor, bland and bad service. I'll never go there again.
Had the most terrible food and service! My friend and i were the only ones in there and didn't get offered drinks. Had water and had a lemon seed in the cup. Luke didn't even come back to check on us and I had ordered soup. I guess on Thursdays there is no soup! I e-mailed the owner and he didn't even try to get us to come back and try again. The food is always amazing and they know how to mix great drinks. Love it.
