Fried Chicken Fortune – It's 8pm. I wanted friend chicken. The closest source is BRC and they want 18 bucks for it. That is insane. It's chicken for goodness sake. Who eats $18 fried chicken? Not this little red fox.

If you go, try the Dr Pepper Quail for something different. – Cut to the Chase: I really wanted to like BRC a lot more... it had some highs (Dr. Pepper Glazed Quail) and it had some lows (overpriced and underwhelming). The Details: We came here for our Tuesday Night Dinner Club and we ordered several appetizers and entrees as part of our BRC experience. The Dr. Pepper glazed Kentucky fried Quail came highly recommended and it was delicious.... the savory meat and breading with the sweet glaze reminded me of when I would swap... read more

Umm...... Yea – So the beer selection is good but averages $8 per glass. The Mojito was however made from white wine and strawberry mix and tasted pretty terrible. They were out of 1/2 of the food and several of the beers. The service was OK also but I asked for a poached egg on my salad and the waitress asked the Chef's and they told her NO. The food was 'eh, my salad was fine but one of my friends ordered the blue crab beignets and they were completely burnt. He ate them anyway because he figured the cooks wouldn't care. T... read more

Great New Restaurant! – I'm a big fan of BRC! They're right down the street from me so parkings not an issue because I can just walk there. It's always packed, but it makes for great people watching. It's lively but the decor still makes it feel cozy! Their burger is delicious!

BRC Not Quite Living Up to the Hype? – It is hard to write this but BRC is not living up to the hype that I want to believe it has the potential to be. Let me first start with the PROS: - red-wine sangria is tasty and refreshing for a hot summer day - pickle jar is an ingenious idea and a nice, tasty surprise - desserts are unique and loaded with decadence (try the snicker beignet) - mac & cheese changes daily and is fabulous - garlicy spinach is to die for - the NAME - I mean you can't go wrong with that one Now to the down... read more

Great Late Night Dining – I really enjoyed BRC! We sat on the patio and had an amazing waiter! I was very pleased with the menu and pricing and LOVED the selection of unique beers and cocktails! Parking is not bad and the staff was very friendly. I will definately visit again!

Citysearch Editorial Review – Appropriately installed along the Shepherd strip of chef-driven restaurants where low culture meets high, BRC entices with cheeky upscale comfort food dreamed up by Chef Jeff Axline and the Glass Wall’s Lance Fegan and Shepard Ross. The small dining room is constantly buzzing with people yearning for cheddar biscuits with sweet and smokey bacon jam or Dr. Pepper fried quail and everything, from the velvety red wallpaper to the flour sack napkins, creates a country noir vibe that is both comforta... read more
