I took my son to get his first eye exam ever. We took him to Brazos Valley Eyecare which is were the rest of our family goes. Kim was the optical technician that worked with him and she was amazing! She explained everything to him in a way that easy to understand and relatable. I was getting an exam to so she let him see all the “behind the scenes stuff” so he would understand. Incompetent. I gave them my insurance cards, had everything confirmed. Checked out and was told they used my BCBS insurance and not my vision plan because it would save me "a lot of money." I was never given the choice - they made the choice on their own without my approval. I paid and left the store. I get a phone call 3 hours later telling me they should have used my other insurance, they made a mistake and now I need to pay an additional $80 because THEY made a mistake by billing the wrong insurance. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I have had nothing but AMAZING experiences here and the staff is very caring and sweet! They have taken care of me and my family with the best service possible every time.
Great for for an eye exam, but bad customer service. Not accommodating to long time clientele. Keep your options open.
