We had a leaking shutoff valve on the outdoor hose bib, so we scheduled a plumbing service visit. Chris showed up on time, checked the faulty valve, and got right to work. He shut off the water, drained the lines, removed the old valve, and installed a more reliable ball valve on the pipe.
