ER is always busy and quality of care seems to be low. I was sent home after a few hours still quite ill, without ever getting blood or urine tests. Nurses were clearly too busy to be attentive; they seemed confused by my doctor’s instructions and even advised something totally different which would have made my condition worse if I’d followed them. recently had to bring my son to er for a ear infection. i was there 20 min doc looked in my sons ear gave us a bottle of antibiotics.later i get the bill that tiny little bottle was 600 hundred dollars i asked my local pharmacist if they had just given me a prescription it woulda been a little over 90 dollars.so unless you absolutely need the meds right then just get a script it will save u alot of money

My carpal tunnel surgery a while ago had an immediate positive effect: I can keyboard, drive for long distances, and knit without pain. I was treated beautifully and would go back in a heartbeat if I needed to.
People wonder why they aren't seen when they are sitting in a room for a while, I had a heart attack a few years ago and I know I tied up the ER staff for a long time because they were working on me. If I have to sit in a room now waiting for a nurse or doctor, I hope the person they are working on lives.
