If only they had zero stars to choose from This service has gone down the tubes since Doc Gray passed. He was a great vet and used old fashioned methods to treat your pets. He was always right. My dog was having what appeared to be leaking problems as a pup. Dr. Brad Gray wanted to do a procedure that he looked up in a book because he had never prefomed this surgery. I talked to his father. He suggested cutting back on her water intake. Huh, a miracle. She stopped leaking. His son was ready to cut my dog open and she had to ... read more

"I'll be back..." I may be moving this year and thought I would search for vets nearer to where I am relocating. As I looked for vets,I saw Brandywine Vet Hospital reviewed and read some of them. I have been a client for 20some years and really resent some of those negative reviews that I saw. It comes to my mind that hundreds of satisfied customers do not leave a vet hospital and rush home to write a review on a website. They consider good care and service to be great as it normally is at this hospital or business,so take i... read more
Brandywine Veterinary Hospital not for sick pets I have been going to Brandywine Vet for 35+ years and always received great care, until when I needed them. My ten year old black lab mix was sick when my wife realized the dog was really ill. I left work at 4:30 when she called. I called Brandywine Vet to see if I could take the dog to be seen. I was told the appointments were all taken but if I could get there by 6:30 they would see her. I live in Lansdowne and it is normally a 35-40 minute trip with no traffic but at rush h... read more
Beware of the groomer at Brandywine Vet Hospital I believe the vets at Brandywine provide good care but beware of the groomer. I brought my dog in for grooming at the recommendation of the vet. When I picked up my dog, he was actively bleeding from multiple deep cuts on his face, back and legs. His underside was razor burned and three of his paws were bleeding. He was so badly cut that I took pictures and provided them to the vet along with my concerns. I got no response from either the practice manager nor the groomer. All ... read more
Beware!!! We took our one-year old cat in when it was sick and spent over $500 in fecal samples, scans, the works. The "checked for all diseases" and finally found it was a urinary tract infection. All that for $500. Nevermind that though, two weeks later the cat is sick again and we take him back in. They tell us he has fatty liver disease. Amazing they didn't find this out with the first $500 worth of scans. Instead of getting better, the cat gets worse every time we check in. My wife and I had to bring him fresh beds as h... read more
NOT A SURGERY PRACTICE!!!!!! WARNING WARNING!!! Dr Moss, who claims to be an "Orthopedic specilist" is not a board certified surgeon!!! After he performed surgery on my dogs knee it failed twice and became badly infected. It took months and months of pain and suffering for my pet and she still cannot use her leg well! And I was charged for all of his mistakes and failed surgeries - thousands of dollars!! Do NOT go here! If your dog needs surgery find a board certified surgeon to do your pets surgery or you will regret it!!
great place My dog has been boarded there and received care there for years. Never had a bad experiance there everyone is very kind and helpful. Great Place
Great care My family has been using Brandywine Vet for 20 years, and we've never had a single problem. We've boarded with them, gotten animals through them, used their farm visits, and brought cats and dogs in for check ups and surgeries. They have been caring, concerned, personable, and professional in every respect. I'd recommend this Vet Hospital to anyone, and in fact, have recommended it to friends in the past. Overall, a great practice with wonderful people.
