Had a pterygium surgery by Dr Dao. He stated a 3 day recovery and I was agony for 3 months. Bad enough that I went to the ER one night. The ER doctor called Dr Dao and his response was, “he’s fine send him home”. I asked to speak to Dr Dao myself and I said to him that the graft he sewed on the surface of my eyeball was so swollen and red that it looked like it was going to tear the stitches and fall off. My eyes were worse after my surgery.....And never saw the Dr when I went back.
Long story short — do not do it. Find someone else, it will save you heartache in the long run.

Went to see Dr. Dao due to eye infection. He told me that it was not an infection but simply inflammation and prescribed anti-inflammatory drops. My eye got worse and worse, with all the classic signs of infection. Went to a different doctor and infection was confirmed, and I was placed on anti-biotics. He also has no "bedside manner" and almost seemed to be annoyed that I'd made an appointment for an eye infection.

Be aware of this doctor he makes a good first impression but that is where it ends, he does a good presentation. If you have really good insurance like I do they will keep charging constantly and then be vague when you question it. The office staff are not well trained and do not return calls. It was overall a horrible experience. I worked in the medical field so I was appalled at the surgical center being dirty and rushing people through like an assembly line.
Dr Doa is a very good and caring dr. He put lens in my eyes 20 yrs ago. I ended up having 20/20 vision!! Still going strong!! I would have needed glasses so thick my nose would not hold them up. I could not see far away worth a crap His staff is great also.
