I think the staff there is slow they stand around and talk way too much if it was their family member that was hurting and waiting to be seen they would probably move quicker I think it's ridiculous that it takes 3 hours to get to the back and when I got back there finally with my husband with a severe infection that the doctor said 24 hours he would have been dead I seen about 6 empty beds that somebody could have been occupying and when they finally got him upstairs there was about four rooms they get when he asked for som... read more
I'd like to start by saying that I am in the medical field and everyone around me tells me not to go to brandon. This is the second time I've been to brandon for a surgery. From the time I walked in the day of surgery thru the whole procedure I dealt with amazingly professional and personable staff. My only disappointment is how long it took for me to discharge but I was in pain and needed pain meds, and I understand I can't be discharged immediately after receiving them. My surgery time was for 11:30am and was told I had to be there two hours early. Got there at 9:20am and wasn't taken back to surgery until 3:30pm. Wasn't release until 7:00pm. I can under stand a little delay cause things can happen, but not a 4 hour delay. I was the last person they did surgery on. Not happy nor will I be back.
I was there for over 6 hours. They only treated ONE of my three concerns. And messed up my prescriptions after that. I attempted to speak to the Director of Medicine about my complaint, and that was a joke. Smdh. Get it together people.
Emergency room is awful. 4 hour wait to be seen by a doctor

St. Joseph's Hospital-South was able to do in 30 minutes what Brandon Regional Hospital couldn't get done all weekend. That place is full of robotic idiots who careless. My partner called 911 on Friday night when she woke up to me having a seizure. I fought with the EMT to take me to st. Joseph's Hospital-South, but he refused. When I was admitted to the ER they took all my vitals and urine sample and then released me. Got there with bad chest pain the valet parked the truck took me in right away was upstairs in a room in less than 2 hours took good care of me
