On 4/6/18 I had cervical spinal cord decompression surgery at Brandon Regional Hospital. Dr. Henkin performed the surgery. I was registered and admitted to Tower A. My husband and I were very happy with our entire experience at BRH. The registration and pre-op appt went smoothly and on surgery day the check in process was also smooth. I especially liked that BRH is set up that where you park isn't an insane distance from where you are going in the Hospital. I went in because I could not breathe. I waited more than three hours in the waiting room. Then I was admitted and told I had blood clots in my lungs. That was not true. They gave me a CT scan but the guy was more interested in hitting on the girl behind the glass than doing what he was supposed to do for me. He injected the die too late and I ended up having to stay the night in the hospital waiting on a doctor to approve me to leave. I wouldn't wish Brandon Regional Hospital onto my worst enemy. I have never dealt with such a bad/unprofessional staff. It should never take 8hrs for a dr to see your test and give you answers especially if you're in the ICU. Those results should be expedited. They are playing games to keep you longer and run up the bills. If you like rude nurses, doctors with no empathy and shity food be my guest. I'd rather die in these streets before they keep me another night

Since one star seems to be the lowest rating we can give, we want to thank you for confirming our worst fear regarding the state of "healthcare" in the world today. This has to be the worst hospital in the area. They are understaffed, disorganized, and unprofessional. I would advise a longer drive to another location, this isn't a fitting place for your loved ones, or yourself.

My eBill is ready, but I can't access it because I just happen to be overseas. On top of that, the last time I tried to phone in to pay a bill, I was passed to at least 3 different operators and one computerized answering system. All asked me the same questions and insisted on me supplying a phone number that is no longer in use—not to mention the fact I couldn't even remember said phone number. This hospital is horrible, my friend went with really bad pain wed. Night in there er. She is still there and they havent figured out what is wrong.

As a fellow RN, I completely appreciated the care provided to my family member last night in the ER. Tony C. (RN), Shannon (Charge Nurse) and Robin (Case manager) displayed not only great customer service and patient care, but also also showed me professional courtesy and that goes a very long way with me. Thank you so much for being in the line of care last night - you really made a difference!
