Had a terrible experience with my son. I took him to get an endoscopy and biopsy of his esophagus for EOE. Immediately following the procedure, Dr. Dickinson said he did not perform a biopsy at all, which I was upset about because it’s pretty routine to get an eosinophil count of the esophagus with someone with EOE, so you can see how the treatment is responding..
