Dreadful. How is he even allowed to practice medicine? Makes up his own diagnoses not based on any objective testing or evidence, then pushes the same bipolar meds he probably gets kickbacks for. The incompetence is astounding and actually harmful to patients. The board needs to review this hack immediately.
I tried to him a chance. His office was a mess-scattered books and papers everywhere. Coke cans and picture frames on the floor not hung up. I initially thought he must be just moving in but then 6+ months went by. All he does is input into the computer-you talk to his back. I saw him multiple times over months and every time I had to start over with my “story”. Do you not have this in notes? Basic stuff.
I experienced very solid care and compassion from this provider. He was clearly concerned about any issues which arose and consistently willing and able to adjust treatment based upon my individual needs. I found the experience very beneficial.
Saw him years ago. He was not very friendly and I feel like he talks down to his patients. He would come up with came up with crazy diagnoses a lot that later all ended up being false.
He prescribed medication without the blood work or counselling I was supposed to have with the meds. He cancelled appointments frequently on his end, even when I needed to see him for med refills. Then it would take days to get a call back from his office to figure out how to get my refills. He never provided counselling or other referrals he'd promised me. He had patient folders all over the floor in his office. Worst medical experience I've ever had.
I immediately knew something was off when his office floor was covered in patient folders. He didn't make eye contact the entire interview, tried to argue with a diagnosis I had just received from a psychiatrist while hospitalized the week before. He then tried to take me off the only antidepressant that has ever worked, claiming I "may" have bipolar d/o instead of MDD. Ignorant and unprofessional. 2 years later, I'm still on the same meds I was prescribed at inpatient and doing well.
I wish I didn't have to leave a single star. I have had the most unprofessional experience with this doctor. He took personal phone calls & had me leave early from sessions, & his receptionist was extremely rude. The best part is he has left me without any options for meds during the Gatlinburg, TN wildfires in which my family lost everything. All because his receptionist was too unprofessional to help me out during an extreme time of crisis. Talk about unethical. Save yourself the headache.
Seemed to be pushing medication almost immediately.
