I was quite pleased with the service that I received at the Brake Team for replacing my timing belt. Micah, the manager was quite pleasant to deal with and the 'estimate' that he gave me was right on. My car was a particularly difficult case as the timing belt cover was less than 2 inches from the side of the car, so disconnecting AC hoses and dropping the engine was required to reach the timing belt. Break Team: I am trying to reach the owner of the company. Today my son who is a wildland firefighter came off the fire line a little over 24 hours ago fight the biggest fire in WA history. He came to Oregon to get his car, drove back to WA because of advertised pricing. Went there an ddealth with Josh who according to my son and his girlfriend was arrogant. Brake Team caught my eye a year ago from their $88 brake job sign. I noticed that my front brakes were starting to make noise. Sorry this review is long, but worth reading! I dropped the car off and then went to go have breakfast. When we returned, I noticed that my car was still on the rack with everything still off. I went in for the $88 special. I received a call after the initial inspection from the manager and he informed me that there were some serious issues with my brake system. He worked with me a bit on the price and was very informative. I ended up spending $319, but I was happy when I left because everything was explained. Jason is awesome and does a good job explaining things. There are a lot of negative comments about Brake Team, but understand they went under new owners about 2 years ago. I took my 2001 Jimmy to this shop. They quoted $400 to fix ABS (light on problem). 3 days later they called and said there was more problems, ABS light was still on, and I owed $400 before I could get my Jimmy back. I refused to pay and they would not give back vehicle until I threatened to call police and report stolen! I finally got Jimmy back and there was 3 small dents on it that were not there when I took it to them. Because I did not pay, I got dents! the store manager running the computer was very nice to my boyfriend and I as we came in to get what we thought were just some new break pads. Come to find out it was alot more that just that. He basically told us that everything had to go. He quoted us at $900 to fix everything. We literally did not have that much money in our bank accounts and he got irritated with us that we asked them to take the car down so we could figure something else out. Highly Recommend – Jason is the best. He's professionsal and knowledgable and goes out of his way to get the work done. Jesus is a wonderful mechanic and I will continue to ask for him each time I need work done on my SUV. I have finally found a place where I can trust that the work will be done correctly and on time. Extremely helpful and kind – Hi, this was my first visit to Brake Team. Unfortunately, I am very bad with names, but the gentleman at the counter was extremely helpful and kind to me. Agustin is who serviced my vehicle and he was very efficient and took less time that I was told. Thank you very much for the great help. I will return and pass on my experience with others. Great Service.. – Went in to have my tires changed over. Great service. The staff was really friendly. The tire change over was done and I got a call faster then expected. I appreciated the information that was given to me about the wear & tear on my current tires. I would go back due to a friend recommending the Brake Team. Thank you.
