I brake for good service. When my squealing brakes told me it was time to take my car into the shop, I chose the Brake Masters on Lincoln because of its proximity to my place of employment. Fortunately, I didn't sacrifice good service and affordability for convenience. The gentleman there made sure to explain everything they intended to do to get my brake system working in top condition, this was especially helpful for a car repair neophyte such as myself. The wall behind the counter is lined with autographed headshots of ma... read more

Don't be fooled by the ads It sounded too good to be true, and it was. I thought I would get my brakes changed for $79, but that's only if you have drum brakes. When are they going to give discbrakers a break? It cost me $177, but the person on the phone offered me a $10 discount when I whined about my useless coupon. However, the person at the front desk asked for a copy of the $10 off coupon, which I didn't have, so I really have no clue if I really got a discount. He looked confused when I asked him if my $10 discount was... read more

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE I was scammed by Eric who, will pretend to be your best friend while picking your pocket. He even has some props he pulls out to convince you to do something you do not need done. I called him about replacing brake pads and he told me that I'd be entitled to 10% off. When I got there, I was informed that my rear rotors needed replacing. They were at .334 of an inch and he showed me on the computer that the minimum thickness is .300 of an inch. He said once machined they'd be clo... read more

Great Service....Great People I'm the first to criticize and the first to compliment. Sal was a pleasure to deal with and I never felt taken advantage of. He was very direct in telling me what my car needed and the price was right. Brake Masters is true to their slogan.

Honest Brake My buddy suggested Brake Masters on Lincoln when I started hearing a terrible squeak from my brakes. I was immediately greeted and the car was taken for a free brake inspection. My pads were low and was promised to have them changed with higher quality pads. After the service was performed, the store manager, Eric, took me around the block to ensure there were no more squeaky noises. I left a satisfied customer. Any reviews that are not positive must come from uneducated or angry people. Brake Masters is a profe... read more

Unethical Business Practices They told me and put in writing that two bolts on my rear caliper needed to be re-thread. I took my car to another mechanic and saw that the bolts were not re-thread and were not even new. I went back to get my money back stating what happened in a calm and respectable manner and was told that if I wanted to get the bolts put in without paying an excessive $90, I should do it myself. True, but I shouldn't be lied to and pay for work that was not performed. All in all, it cost me $270 to get two b... read more

Just an honest place to Go! The most honest shop I have ever been to! Phil, the manager, walked me through the car and gave me options of what to fix. He actually told me that i didn't need to replace the rotors and that saved me a lot of money. Not sure what the couple bad reviews on here are about, but I had a great experience over there!

Honest Auto Repair I brought my car into Brake Masters in Santa Monica for a free brake inspection after getting a recommendation from a neighbor. It only took 15 minutes for them to tell me that I still had 50% left on my brake pads and to come back in 6 months for a re-inspection. I trust their name and do find them to give and "Honest Brake"

Honesty is the Best Policy! Above anything else, Brake Masters was honest with me about my car. I brought my car in because the brakes were squeaking and figured because i was a girl they were going to take advantage of me. NOT THE CASE! Where as the dealer told me i needed rotors they explained that all i needed was my pads replaced. The guys were so nice and even gave me coupons towards my next visit. It's just the best place to get your brakes done.
