I don't know about other Brake Check locations, but I will use NO OTHER than the New Braunfels locations!!! I am always treated with Top Drawer treatment. Made an appointment, got me in on time, diagnosed the issue, got parts ordered and next appointment set for installation in under 30 minutes! These guys ARE Top Guns for this Veteran. Thank you for great, courteous service.

I worked for Brake Check years ago. I had basic understanding and little experience with brake work. I was thrown into the fire replacing pads and shoes on a Jeep. I had little idea what I was doing and I had no tools. I worked out of another mechanic’s tool box and questioned him constantly on the procedure. The probability of my work being poor was very high. I got the job done and went on to the next vehicle with the same process of repair.Eventually I quit because it was not something I wanted to do.
BEWARE! My experience with the Brake Check in Austin, Texas was not only an example of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, but they actually caused DAMAGE and refused to pay for it, instead filing a claim with MY insurance company. Sounds unbelievable I know, but it is true. I would warn everyone to think twice before taking your vehicle here. C Lewis I am a employee of brake Check, it's okay to correct the wrong on the customers vehicles when done a bad job . I have a big problem when store director/ Manager mis Diagnostics a customer vehicle. Just because we have Store Director/ Manager doesn't mean that they have experience @ store # 525 . Armando Broncas Brake Check Broke my brake line. Ive spent over $1100 with them and still have the exact same problem I brought it in with and now it's leaking brake fluid everywhere. First they changed the pads and rotors, then the master cylinder, then they said that didn't work and put the old master cylinder back on, then they said it was the hydraulic unit, then they broke the brake like and caused it to leak after changing the hydraulic unit. Fantastic work and customer service! I was stranded out of town with a broken power steering pump and the Brake Check staff and crew on N. Lamar & 38th St. took care of me like family. They were really busy and it was a Saturday, but they confidently assured me they could fix my problem. They even stayed an hour past closing time to help me out.
