My wife and I celebrated our 50Th wedding anniversary with family at the Braised Onion. We were very happy with the arrangements in the banquet room. The table was very nicely decorated and set the party mood. The service by the wait staff was excellent. All of our guests were completely satisfied with their food selections. I highly recommend the Braised Onion to anyone planning a similar get together. Roger and Emily Mullings.
My husband and I have never been disappointed. We drive an hour to get here. The food is always superb.

The food overall is great! I would stay away from the fronion appetizer. It's extremely greasy. The onion soup is excellent. On a normal day the prices are affordable, but we went on New Year's Eve and it was a bit pricey. They had a specialty menu that included a soup or salad, main course and a desert for around $35-60 for each person. Like I said it wasn't astronomically expensive but just a little pricey. Overall I give this restaurant 5 stars.
New Year's Eve "special menu" was pricey which caused some patrons to walk away at the door. As a result, business was off and I heard more than one patron say they wouldn't be back. So bad, some staff were cut early. Food was very good, love the atmosphere, service was also very good but the holiday prices, not so much..
