I came here seeking help for my ADHD symptoms and left with a misdiagnosis. I don't think this place can properly diagnosis high masking adult women. Any concerns I brought up with the diagnosis were waved off and dismissed. During my testing, the environment was loud and I could clearly hear the conversations of employees throughout the entire appointment. I wasn't going to leave a review. I was only curious to see if there were other complaints. I saw somebody had an almost identical experience to mine in a reveiw left two hours prior to my looking. My own impression of my assessment was that it was medical misogyny and this other reveiwer is female. It's very concerning. I assure you this is not a safe or reliable place for an adult woman to get an assessment. We worked with Dr. Kirkpatrick and Dr. Howard. We didn’t have any surprises they were transparent in how the process will go and in explaining to us the amount of time it could take to get the results. Both were amazing in keeping the communication line open. They replied to any questions we had in a timely manner and gave insight to the process. We never felt rushed. I spent 3 years trying to get my son properly assessed but kept hitting roadblocks with insurance and long waitlists. Last year I decided to switch insurance, which led me to reach out to SD BrainWorks who confirmed that they had an opening to see Dr. Howard, and I’m so glad I took it.
