The hair stylist are extremely rude. They laugh and joke about the clients in French. Franche spoke bad about me to the other stylist as if I wasn't there. And there's a gorilla looking stylist with dreads, last time I was there her station was by the front window, who will blatantly talk about you as if she looks good. This place is extremely dirty, dirty aprons, dirty chairs, dirty towels, dirty equipment, it's just disgusting. I WILL NEVER RETURN!
I made an appointment for Senegalese twists at 7am on a Saturday. When I got there, they made me pay before even starting my braids. That seems to be a typical business practice for African hair salons. I expected to be finished before 3pm. I did not leave that shop until around 10pm that evening. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever get micros in my hair. I am a hair stylist/ owner and rarely find the time to do anything with my own hair. I made the crazy decision to go natural and boy is my hair taking me through changes. This I felt was my only option. Guys, I tell you, I was so nervous at first because this is a huge stretch for me. But..... I think it was the best decision so far for my hair. I look and feel so beautiful! Those ladies worked a miracle! Thank you!!!!!!
You have got to go get your hair done by these beautiful ladies. Not only are they extremely talented but they care about the work that they do. I got senegalese twists today and their work exceeded my expectations!!!! The care that the ladies took really made me feel important and special. I went in looking crazy and left looking absolutely beautiful! Job well done and I will be getting this special treatment again! And... again!
I have had my hair braided at Braids by Franche twice. I am always extremely satisfied with their work. The first time I had my hair braided I got the $180 pixie size. They lasted me for about two months before I took them out. Most people still thought I took them out too soon. I have very dry scalp and I was able to wash my braids in the shower and not have to worry about them all coming out.
