The Braider was nice, however I am not happy with my hair. I got a boho knotless bob, and every time I run my fingers through it, the curls are falling out. Horrible install. This is not my first time getting a boho braid style, but this is my first time experiencing the curls falling out. Definitely not braided properly. $300 down the drain and I am super disappointed. Will not be recommending this place to anyone.
Do not book!!! Horrible service..... Read the reviews first before booking! Had an appointment scheduled with the Essex location for 1pm today. Confirmed the appointment with the stylist over the phone. Called at 10am today to confirm the appointment only to be told to go somewhere else because they were full. Mind you I had a scheduled appointment, but I guess appointments don't matter.. Very unprofessional, would not recommend. I booked a 4:00 appointment online and had called two days prior to confirm the time, that hair was provided, etc. On the day of my appointment, I called them as I was driving there to let them know that I had booked for 4:00 and would be there a few minutes late and they said that it would be no problem. I went today and got the knotless boho braids.I like my hair alot! One girl did my hair. It was nice and quiet inside. I did beat the stylist there but she arrived 2 mins later.
After reaching out to someone on IG and then making an appointment for 10am. Drive from Columbia to Essex, through the toll, I get a phone call at 9:31am, when I am 5 mins away saying that they are busy and if I could come at 3pm is crazy. I'm glad I read the reviews on my way back home cause I would never go here! The worst service ever! I'm sure it's a million other places to go to that are way better with way better reviews! Black businesses gotta do better!
