I took Braids by Sheka Hairbraiding Course and I was very pleased. She was very thourough with each techinique. She made sure I was comfortable with each technique before moving on to a new one. If you are interested in becoming a licensed braid tech, I reccommend you contact Braids by Sheka, her prices are very reasonable and she will have you feeling more confident than ever about braiding hair.

Ive been a faithful client of Sheka since Dec. 2008 from her first business mobilehairbraiding. The lady is awesome at what she does and I see her every month for my ghana braids and she does my micro braids twice a year for me . Her braids last and doesnt hurt when she is braiding. worst salon ever I went there and the whole time the hair stylist and the "very educated" owner sat and would gossip about everyone who came in. I got there at 1 and left at 12 something and I knew everyone business that came including the owners sister. I liked the braids but the need to be a bit more organized and professional. I would not go back but if you go say very little to them.
