I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Braids by Babe Hair Salon. I booked my knotless braids a full week in advance for an important event, only to have my appointment cancelled just 30 minutes before I was supposed to arrive. No proper notice, no effort to accommodate or reschedule—just a last-minute cancellation that left me scrambling to find another salon on such short notice. My son was asking for more than a week to have his hair done. Braids Babe Salon was very professional and asked all the questions. They made his first professional experience so easy and comfortable now I am sure he will be visiting more and more. When my other boys’ hair is grown out they’ll be coming as well.
First time customer and looking for a new salon. They were accommodating for a last minute appointment. My daughter is 4 and was happy that her Conrow’s was not too tight and the braider was gentle. The braider put on a kids show on tv and my daughter was entertained the whole time, didn’t cry like she normally does. We will definitely come again. Thank you.
She did an amazing job on my daughter’s hair! My daughter walked out smiling from ear to ear. The stylist was patient, gentle, and really listened to what we wanted. The results were beautiful, and the whole experience felt warm and welcoming. The salon was clean, professional, and super kid-friendly. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be coming back! ♀️
My experience was disappointing. I paid $120 plus tip for 6 stitch cornrow braids. On the booking site, the style was listed to last 2–3 weeks, but it ended up being so tight and uncomfortable that I had to remove it after just six days. The tension caused redness and bumps on the back of my neck, which was really concerning. Communication about what was required for the appointment could have been much clearer.
