I did a Google search for a spine doctor in my area and came across Dr. Moatz and saw that he had great reviews. I thought I'll give him a try. When after thorough testing Dr Moatz told me I needed spinal fusion surgery I was scared but all of the people I came in contact with told me how great of a doctor he is. Dr Moatz was very personable and professional. He explained his opinions regarding my condition and recommended trying other alternatives prior to doing surgery. As I left his office, I felt confident that I was in good hands moving forward.
Friendly environment with care/concern for patients.
Dr. Moatz did a lumbar spinal fusion on me in April and gave my life back to me. I was in such terrible pain. He is conscientious and made sure I was a good candidate for this surgery before taking me on as a patient. I have osteoporosis. I was off ALL pain meds two weeks after surgery. That includes Tylenol. I can now walk over a mile without any issues. I know pain doctors can give you shots in the back to lessen the pain, but it will not fix the problem long term.
