I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Dr. Spitz, and I must say that his bedside manner is absolutely dreadful. When my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer, he insisted repeatedly that she had stage 4 cancer, despite the fact that her diagnosis was actually a limited stage. His insistence on misrepresenting her condition caused unnecessary distress, especially when he told me, in the hallway of Mercy Hospital, that my mother only had a few weeks to live. This is one of the worst doctors in the world . This doctor said a medication was reserved for people that are mildly sick, and refused to use it in an emergency because he said he did not want to waste it on somebody, with less chance or no chance of living! CAN U IMAGINE THAT BEING SAID! AS UF ONE IF HIS PREFERRED PEOPLE WAS A PRIORITY OR AS UF HE GETS TO MSKE THE CALL ON WHO LIVES AND GETS FULL CARE!. At first he seemed nice and caring. Then he asked if I had gotten vaccinated against covid 19. When I told him no and my reasons why (one of them being a recommendation by my general doctor) he completely changed his demeanor towards me and seemed to be annoyed for the rest of the session. Not a good fit for me.
Be alert and so cautious if you get this callous arrogant doctor. I would never want Dr. Spitz to be my doctor or specialist, especially in an emergency. This man has no sympathy and is not fulfilling the responsibility in doing his best to serve and to preserve life! Dr. Spitz, is horribly unethical and a careless individual with no empathy.
