We need more direct flights into CT. Living in Pittsburgh, it seems impossisble to get back home to CT! 6+hrs of travel or 9+ hrs to drive. It should be an hr long flight. The cost is over the top as well!! Thinking about flying direct to larger airports and driving the remainder of the trip.
My husband and I was there on March 18 and it was a nice experience but i need to share something. A lady at the gift shop in front of gate 5 (Jet Blue) told to my husband and I all the stores will be close by 9pm. At 8:04pm I went to Dunkin Donuts and they were closing by that hour and my husband and I was like whaatt... but instead of this it was a nice experience. Ladies at the electronics store (iphone covers, JBL's stuff, etc) they were so kind and a really good sellers.
Nice airport staff friendly very helpful just my flight was supposed to leave 930 pm we didn't leave until almost 12 am they said it was maintenance but it was extra people getting on delaying our departure time besides that real good and nice need 2 upgrade the baggage area over all great
Love BDL Airport great people good treat and all around good experience I fly trough bdl many and every time is great.
