Dr. Gerber is one of the rudest doctors I have ever encountered...he totally missed diagnosis which led to me having emergency surgery with another orthopedist one week later. Thank God I followed my instincts. Do not waste your time with this guy and his orthopedic factory.

My husband had hip replacement surgery by Dr Gerber. Since having the surgery he has had five dislocations, three that required going to the hospital by ambulance. The first time he dislocated the hip we contacted his office explaining what had happened, we were told he would meet us at the hospital. He never showed up. When we went to see him the next day he told us that this rarely happens. All he was concerned about was being sued, it was written all over his face. He showed us no compassion.

I had to have a hip replacement at age 46. Dr. Gerber did a phenomenal job on the replacement, i was back to normal- with no restrictions- in less than 6 weeks. His manner may seem a bit rushed, but he will spend time with you and will answer all your questions. One note of caution- be prepared to wait! He is perpetually behind schedule because he does spend the time necessary with each patient....so, if you are in a hurry, go elsewhere...if you want your hip done right, go to Dr. Gerber!

Dr Gerber is very professional, listens well and is very smart in his field. He moves fast and is in high demand so you better be ready when you get your time with him. I was recommended to him by 2 very close friends of mine that have nothing but praise for him on the surgeries he performed. I will stick with him and his staff until my knee replacement is done. My husband has had one hip resurfaced (age 46) the other replaced (age 53). Dr Gerber was GREAT! The office is not managed well and there is often a very long wait without any communication by the staff, but the quality of the surgery is most important. The incision is very long as he explained clearly because he wants to get the right positioning. My husband recommended two other people (93 year old male and 65 year old female, both had equally great things to say.

Disrespectful, arrogant and unprofessional. An absolute disgrace to his medical profession. After waiting over one hour in the waiting area I was escorted to a room by a nurse to get ready for my scheduled cortisone shot. My husband approached the desk to ask why the office staff does not offer updates as to why we are forced to wait so long without being told when the doctor is late. The doctor was informed of my husband's complaint and punished me by denying me the pain relief I need so badly.

I had a knee replaced almost 2 years ago ever since then I have been back-and-forth to Dr. Gerber telling him that I had pain.. Dr Gerber kept telling me it takes time to get better.. I finally decided to go for a second opinion I went to a specialist he told me that the need joint is loose and it needs to be replaced.. I followed every instruction Dr. Gerber ever gave me I did physical therapy 3 times.. I am not a runner I've never fallen.. I was made to feel like I was just complaining..
