I really do not want to say anything derogitory at this point as I am still figuring things out. All I know is that I moved into this house and it had the original 66 gal. electric hot water heater (13 years) which was working fine ... I could take my abnormally long showers 35-40 minutes (I'm a disabled vet) without worrying about losing hot water. I was having a steam humidifier installed which required the HVAC guys to tap into the water heater's supply line (only line available). I decided, what the hell, if they're goin... read more

Purchased a new home with a high efficiency natural gas BW water heater. Two months after moving in the heater starting leaking. Plumber came and found the factory supply lines on the inside of the heater were leaking. This resulted in the insulation in the heater becoming completely saturated. This was the tenth BW heater with this problem that the plumber repaired. Writing this review so that BW will review their assembly and final testing procedures.

The first BW I purchased went bad immediately after the warranty expired. I still prefer it over the usual suspects sold at every outlet accommodating home improvement tasks. Now on my second BW heater, I can hear it functioning into my bedroom, something which never happened with the first one. WHY? BW has opted to do away with the electronic control, reverting to the standard. The unit is quite capable in performing it’s function.
I bought this product and hooked it up, but the next morning there was no hot water. After double checking everything, we finally realized it was wired incorrectly from the factory. Once we changed the wiring configuration, it came on and has been heating the water. Funny how we thought we were idiots and turns out we weren’t after all.
Incredibly noisy. I have no basement so had a power vent gas water heater installed off the kitchen. The noise is intolerable. I spent a good deal of money on the product and installation, but after one month I will be replacing it with electric. Not a happy customer

I just bought a new Bradford White water heater and after 2 days it stopped working. I requested a new replacement and of course Branford white said no and any parts were covered under warranty. I had my plumber come back and at my expense he was told by customer service to replace the gas line from 1/2 to 3/4. This worked for a few hours then it stopped working again. Another call to customer service and they said to replace the heating module. After this was installed it worked fine. I’ve always bought this brand but I hig... read more

I had Bradford White 75 gal gas water tank for 8.5 years. The tanks did not leak but the water just turned brown color. Before it leaks, I just changed to a new one. This time is a 50 gal energy efficient tank. I like Bradford White and that's why I chose this brand again.
I had a defective anode and they quickly took care of the issue.
Bradford White has a 3.8 star rating with 60 reviews.
