Dr. Meister is a courteous and professional orthopedic doctor. I will not hesitate to seek his knowledge again if needed.
He did a great job. Makes time to answer all my questions. Staff was easy to work with.
Would not even consider going anywhere but the SE Kansas Orthopedic Clinic @ Labette Health in Parsons, KS, for care. Dr. Meister and all his staff have been friendly, patient, professional and very helpful in helping me deal with joint pains and other issues relating to a previous injury and current aging.I know I can trust them. I have had one successful total knee replacement and scheduled surgery for the other. Their service, expertise and professionalism are priceless.
Got in, checked in efficiently by the front office staff. Was brought to X-ray since I was a new patient. I was escorted to a exam room promptly and in less than ten minutes Dr arrived and listened to my explanation of why I was there, after viewing the films and examining my knee I was assured that I hadn’t damaged my knee but a knee brace would help stop any damage. Then answered questions about trigger finger. I was fitted with a knee brace and I left a happy camper. Great experience imho

Dr.Meister was kind but very straight forward which is how I like things. He explained everything to me, discussed my options, and together we made a plan to move forward with hip replacement, provided I shed some excess weight. He was the first to congatulate my success , losing 25 pounds in 6 weeks. Here I am 6 weeks post op and only a couple more weeks until returning to work. Surgery was an absolute success. Got an appointment for knee replacement soon after office visit. 3days now after surgery everything is going good. See PT 3 times a week and doing home exercises
My son broke his elbow; this was his first time ever with a serious injury and first time having surgery. Dr. Meister made sure we both understood what the surgery entailed. He not only gave me an update after surgery but also followed up with my son after he came back from the recovery room to see how he felt and made sure we had everything we needed. Bedside manner is excellent. We appreciated him and the team that was taking care of my son.
Very professional and told me in plain English about my injury and what steps may need to be done in the future.
