I received shots in my knee however, they were non effective. I had a huge fear of pain and I had seen it in others after knee replacement and didnt want any part of it. Nobody was doing the slice and dice on my knee! But! I broke my foot on the opposite leg and was rendered basically crippled. Dr. Meister was granted thè honors of performing the slice and dice and I want to tell everyone, the day after the surgery, they gave me a walker and I used it 5 days and put it off to the side and was walking unassisted from then on.... read more
As always Dr. Meister took the time on the morning of surgery to ask me if I had any other questions and if I was ready. When I seen the Dr before dismissal he made sure everything was right and that myself and my wife understood what I needed to do. It has been about five and a half weeks Dr has released me to returned to work. LTKR was a success. The knee is perfect.
Very professional staff. One total hip replacement two years ago and back for second one now that’s how confident I am with Dr Meister and his team.
Dr Meister did an excellent job on my knee replacement. I put off my knee replacement for a few years. He did an excellent job and everything went just as he stated. Dr. Meister will be doing my second knee in a few months. This surgery has changed my quality of life for the better.
Went for second knee injections. Thought maybe needed joint replacement but Dr Meister said they weren’t bad enough yet. Not worn out just arthritis. That was good news. Would recommend him to everyone.
I have been a patient of Dr Meisters for several years, so when there was no option but total knee replacement without hesitation I choose him. Dr Meister, John his PA and Jennifer his nurse are the best. Everyone involved from his office, to the OR to the recovery floor were all on top of their game. He runs a tight ship, and you can tell with the professionalism of his staff. We are so lucky to have him and the Southeast Kansas Orthopedic Clinic located here.
I've been a patient with Dr. MEISTER for several years now. Each appointment is timely, and the Dr. and staff throughly address all your concerns. Dr. Meister is factual and professional. I've had 1 surgery, and preparing for my second. I feel confident and trust Dr. Meister and his team.
He was very to the point, but very thorough. He’s knowledgeable and speaks in a way you can understand. My autistic son was with me and had a meltdown. Although scary, the entire staff was very sweet and helpful, as was security who was on standby. I’d definitely recommend this office and doctor!
The way the doctor quickly understood what my problem was and he quickly came up with the way to ease my pain
