Dr. Blankenhorn is an exceptional person, diagnostician and fabulous physician. After sustaining 5 lower leg fractures over time he got me up and walking again without any assistive devices. He is very kind and compassionate. Great role model for residents.

Dr. Blankenhorn was the kindest, most caring, gentle, and understanding physician I could have asked for.
Amazingly I had not one bit of pain during my 10 week recovery following a heel spur/Achilles repair. And Dr Blankenhorn's office is incredibly good at staying on schedule for appointments which I appreciate.
I think dr.blankenhorn is truly the best...he always keeps my other health conditions in mind and managing my pain with an awesome relatable personality & staff
I was very unhappy with my visit. Made my appointment well in advance and arrived to find out he had never even viewed the MRI my PCP ordered. Long wait in exam room, rushed, scripted conversation. Never again.
Was knowledgeable about my connective tissue disorder (which is specifically why I saw him) and was able to recommend a surgery I was previously told wasn't an option, which should drastically improve my problems. He spent a good 30 minutes talking to me and going over what he'd like to do, if I decide to have the surgery. As someone who's seen many doctors, I was pleasantly surprised with him overall!
He is a nice guy but clearly overbooked. Stuck in a hot room for over an hour to see a resident, then much later saw Dr Blankenhorn. He suggested an injection. Waited another half hour then left w/o the treatment...total time spent over 2 1/2 hours.
Should not be working at University Orthopedics as he is not up to their usually high clinical standards. Dr. Blankenhorn sat on other side of exam room with his "Resident" and never touched my foot.(got paid, I'll bet) Poor performer and not recommended unless you want to waste your time. Weak diagonosis
