if you are in need of seeing a gastroenterologist, i highly recommended Dr. Brad Bowyer. he was amazing an actually takes the time to listen to your problems and exactly wants going on. 5 stars all the way around!!!

I had emergency surgery via colonoscopy while I was in Rockford caring for my sister after her surgery. The day I was to go back home to Atlanta, I ended up in the ER with massive bleeding. I knew no physicians in Rockford. I was totally in the hands of the providers in the ER and somehow, I was lucky enough to have Dr. Bowyer as my surgeon. How he managed to find and clip the hole in my colon, I will never know. I am thankful to Dr. Bowyer and to God for sending him my way when I was alone.
Dr. Bowyer is an excellent doctor - great patient relations and makes a "not so pleasant" procedure a good experience! His staff is fantastic too!
