Turned my schizophrenic son away after he was scheduled for appointment for meds. Provider was out. Told him to find his shot elsewhere as they are booked up for the next few weeks. Made no effort to assist him find another facility nor would they make a phone call to refer him somewhere else. Staff is apathetic. From the receptionist, to the office manager and even the provider! Only one nurse and one therapist are kind and friendly. Everyone else, needs improvement!
This place is a joke. During the intake I was asked “are you just looking for drugs?” As if seeking help with my mental health was akin to being a junkie. Then I find out they actually allow a nurse practitioner to write prescriptions without a real Psychiatrist present. I needed a basic form filled out by said nurse practitioner and she simply refused to fill it out. I have saw many therapist trying to find the right fit. Everyone at this facility are remarkable. They truly care about you and your well being. Thank you for helping me stay grounded. Forever grateful.
