my family member was physically assaulted by two individuals, including staff. an individual attempted to attack him with a sharp weapon. Staff failed to intervene. When police arrived, staff refused to allow my family member to speak or press charges, despite him clearly stating he wanted to. This place is something you don't wanna deal with. I've never lived there, but dealing with the YAB program and meeting with a worker once a week, not good. Always late or cancels. The place looks like a prison. Being forced to do this stuff by DCF hurts my metal health.

Hi my name is devon i was at boys and girls village for two and a half years they are bad people when i was in residential if you had gotten into a fight they would put you in your room for the reset Of the day no matter what time it is and they made me think that it was my adopted familys fault that im there they wanted me to believe that everybody is at fault but them and i was 13 years old when i i first got there and they wanted us to sit down at groups for 6 times a day and wanted everybody to tell the reson why they ar... read more

This school has given me nothing but trauma for life, never ever send your kids here unless your willing to put them through HELL. This place is not therapy for a child, this is a place where children become submissive to abuse and susceptible to a toxic school/work environment. And I should know because I went there, this place makes children suffer and teaches them that it's life to never make it anywhere in life.
