Avoid going here for cleanings/dental work. To start, I had to reschedule a cleaning in early January after the hygienist and dentist said that I would need a deep cleaning. Okay news to me but no problem, until immediately after my appointment, when I had to call back to reschedule the appointment myself after the front desk staff failed to do the follow-up appointment scheduling. This clinic canceled my appointment less than 16 hours before I was expected to be seen and in return rescheduled me for another one two-months later. This is terrible customer service and the receptionist was not cordial either! She recommended to “visit of the many other dental clinics” in the Twin Cities if I couldn’t find a new time.
I'm in my late 40's and I have never had to get a cleaning done in two appointments, one for the exam, one for the actual cleaning. They have a real greasy vibe there, adding in extra x-rays. I remember when I had them 20 years ago and they tried to get me to do scaling and planing and wanted to pull my perfectly fine and only wisdom tooth. A second opinion thought both of those procedures completely unnecessary. Going back I just don't trust them and I'm going to see where else I can go with school insurance.
Extremely disappointing experience. It felt like their priority was checking my insurance coverage and how much money I could spend, rather than addressing my actual pain. I came in with severe tooth pain expecting relief or at least a temporary fix, but instead, I was handed a complex and expensive treatment plan focused on non-urgent procedures like deep cleaning—while my immediate pain was completely ignored. Great hygienists, and I love my dentist. The biggest reason I dock stars, is that it's brutal to schedule here - you will wait months. So, it's best just to schedule your routine checkups at the end of every visit. If you miss ONE appointment, it can be 9 months to get back in rotation. So, I have to switch clinics after 12 years of going here.
