Took my daughters there (ages 10 & 12) for Memorial Day, overnight waterpark package (Saturday to Sunday). Got there about 1pm Saturday to enjoy some of the activities. We were able to get in our room right away even though checking wasn't until 5. As a resort, they provide many fun things but it's hit-and-miss if you hear about them, can find them, are able to do them. I had the best time with my daughter Ry Nyree for Mother's Day weekend. This is one of the best gifts that she has given me. Boyne is the best resort!!!! Looking forward to returning soon.
I've been skiing there since I was 2 and they have only added one high seed chair and one medium-high speed chair, that was operating at the slowest speed fathomable because the magic carpet was broken. That's two chair upgrades since 1991. For $80+ a lift ticket, I expect much more. To end on a few positive notes, the snow machines they invested in a few years back have been pumping out great snow, and the terrain park quality has gone way up the past few years as well.
Trails are rough for biking but I love em on my fat tire.
Great staff. Beautiful facilities. Comfortable room. I would highly recommend.
