HistoryThe Boyd Farm has been continuously in the Boyd family for over 100 years, and continues to be a working farm. David J. Boyd and his wife Kate Moody Boyd were large landowners and a prosperous farming family. They had many hundreds of acres of land from the present location to further up Hemphil Road. It was great well worth the drive from charlotte. Just wish they would have had more trees tagged to cut down. It seems like the trees I really loved weren't tag to be cut. Love the tree I did get and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Santa was pretty awesome as well!!
This is a family tradition at a family farm. The trees are beautiful and the service is great! We love Boyd's Tree Farm!

Fun atmosphere but way over priced! Went right down the road where trees were over half the price!!!
Our 1st time picking & cutting our own tree. Everyone was very helpful explaining where to go to find our tree. Very quick at loading the trees.
We just picked our perfect tree and had a great experience!! The selection of trees was plentiful and the trees are reasonably priced. Your guys were friendly and very helpful. We will be back.
The experience provided here is truly one to remember for a lifetime. My family drives many hours to enjoy the hospitality & bring home that perfect tree.
