We love the Drs and staff! My animals love them too - well except Fluffy the cat. She hates everyone 😂😂 that’s trying to poke her.
RecommendedAnother issue on a holiday. My young pup had an eye injury and even though it is Memorial Day, Dr. Shipp just met me at her office and helped. I honestly don't know why anyone, around here, wouldn't have her as their vet. my dang dogs have the worst timing.
The people here are very caring & helpful people & have always taken excellent care of cats & dogs I've taken there!
I have to say I recommend Boyd Veterinary Hospital, especially Dr. Sarah she took care of my boy for 6 1 /2 yrs of his 10 1/2 yrs of his life. He was gentle boy of 120 pounds and as he aged we had surgeries on fatty tumors no cancer found and the laser treatment was amazing for his hips and back and his front legs but on March 2, 2018 we went in for a normal laser treatment and found out the lump she exrayed and it turned out to be a very aggressive bone cancer and only gave me 2 weeks or turn him into a tripod at 10 1/2 yrs... read more
Everyone at the vet office is so lovely and kind. I’m very Blessed to have my sweet Whitney Faith cared for by so many wonderful individuals. They know their business and they are so great with all the animals!❤️❤️
This morning I brought my sweet kitty in to be euthanized. I traveled 45 minutes from Lewisville because I’ve always trusted BVH. When we got there Nermal was in bad shape and passed away before the vet had to do anything. Dr. Shipp and the staff have ALWAYS put the animals first. She could’ve easily told me that she euthanized her, but with their ethics, their care for their animals and their owners, Dr. Shipp came out and personally told me she passed on her own putting my mind at ease that she went on her own terms. Dr. Sarah is wonderful! She has a tremendous amount of compassion for animals and their humans. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers all your questions. When it was time for our 18 year old Yorkie to "Go To Sleep" Dr. Sarah explained everything to us in detail. She allowed us to hold our Yorkie the entire time even though she had to kneel on the floor to place the IV. Paula, the receptionist, is wonderful too. I highly recommend this establishment and Dr. Sarah.

I love our vet so much! They treat each of our furbabies as if they were their own!! I will never forget the way our 3 year old Belgian Malinois reacted when the vet walked in the room! It was like he saw a long lost best friend! He couldn't have been happier! I am very thankful for them!
