I broke my kneecap and ended up needing surgery. Dr. Bowman did my surgery. He first of all said that I had soft bones. When fixing my kneecap the 2 screws did not stay. He then ended up using 1 screw and surgical wire for the other part. While recovering while doing PT I felt a pop. The screw and wire did not hold. Therefore the whole thing came apart. I ended up having to need a trauma surgeon travel and re due it. He said that it was in even more pieces.

I had my two knees replaced by him. He provided excellent care and spoke to me in easily understandable terms. He was a true human being.

I had a broken and dislocated ankle and a fractured ankle as a result of being hit by a small truck. Dr. Bowman performed emergency surgery and follow-up care. I highly recommend him, he is a physician who puts the interests of the patient ahead of his own or the hospital's

I e had double shoulder Replacements,there isn’t a better orthopedic surgeon out there. So professional,easy going

I saw him to have a revision to my knee replacement. I ended up an above knee amputee because of an artery being accidentally and unknowingly cut, my leg was sewn shut with the artery still bleeding. I almost died. I am learning to walk again. Wouldn't recommend him to cut grass!

Zero stars were no a choice or I'd have chosen zero Left my 90 year old mother crippled after first surgery failed, then revision surgery failure. This person should not be allowed to practice orthopedic surgery or any other kind of surgery. First "surgery" in June. She has still not recovered due to the extensive work necessary to correct his surgeries. Obsolete parts were used in the second surgery. The new doctor didn't know that these parts still existed. Dr. Bowman has operated on both of my knees. He was very clear in his explanation as to what needed to be done to fix them. I had a scope performed on both for cartilage tears and lateral releases. Dr. Bowman also removed arthritis and pieces of floating bone. I trusted him completely throughout the entire process. My only complaint is the wait time in the lobby prior to an appointment. Be prepared to wait a long time. I chalk it up to him being a quality doctor with many patients.
