Had a total knee replacement 20 months ago. Have not had a day without pain and discomfort since that day. Tried to see Dr Bowling in numerous occasions and was only allowed to see PAs even knowing I was having issues with the knee replacement. At the year anniversary of the replacement still having much pain, swelling, and mobility issues. Tried to see Bowling again and was told it would be about three months before I could. Totally satisfied with a right knee replacement two years ago and left hip five years ago. Having my left knee replaced later this summer. I have osteoarthritis in most of my joints, and Dr. B and his staff have made my life normal again. I have been to other orthopedic surgeons in this area, but they kept me dependent on drugs and cortisone much longer than I thought necessary. Dr. Bowling gets right to the problem and fixes it. Dr. Bowling is an excellent surgeon who takes time with his patients for explanations, questions or whatever that patient needs. As a result, he runs behind quite often. His two PA’s are equally as excellent. I, personally, enjoyed the transparency provided by the PA’s and the entire Bowling Orthopaedics staff and didn’t feel the need to see Dr. Bowling for every visit. Dr Bowling is an excellent surgeon and a kind, caring person. He listened to what I had to say, and was truly interested in finding the best treatment for my knee injury and pain. He also performed my husband's hip replacement surgery with the same remarkably great care and skill. I highly recommend Dr Bowling to anyone needing hip or knee care.
Dr Bowling is great I completely trust him with my orthpedic care. I have never been cared for by such a empathetic doctor. His bedside manners are great his knowledge and medical competency greatly ease my worries concerning my surgeries. In addition his additional PA Ryan is very, very good. Bowling Ortho gets 5 STARS from me.
Dr Bowling is absolutely amazing. My family (daughter, hubby, mom, dad, mother-in-law & step dad) have all been seeing Dr B for at least 10 years and have never had any problems. Most recently, on Monday he performed a hip replacement on my kids 79 yr old papa with no problems. I would definitely recommend Dr B and his wonderful staff!

Dr Bowling did a total knee replacement on me. I've had excellent results. The rehab is tough but worth it. He's very busy so if you takes awhile to get in to see him and to get the surgery scheduled if you decide to do it do don't procrastinate!
Dr. Bowling came highly recommended from several people. He replaced both of my knees at the same time. I am now 4 months post-op and doing very well. A friend had the same thing done the next day by another Dr. and I came through much better, with less pain and a better result. The only problem I have is with his office. My first time seeing Dr. Bowling I did not see him until 2 hours past the scheduled time, next time it was an hour.
