Dr. Bowers is easily the most insensitive OB I have ever encountered in my life. His bedside manor is absolutely horrific. I will spare you the details, but he told a pregnant woman (who was in emergent antepartum with severe bleeding) that "even if the baby was dying, there's nothing we can do for you", even though they had just determined that the baby was fine (confirmed heartbeat on ultrasound). I saw Dr Bowers a few times and while I felt he was knowledgeableand explained things thoroughly, his bedside manner was horrible. Each time I saw him, I got the feeling he was annoyed by me, my questions, and the procedure I was having not going according to whatever plan he had. He used words that felt condescending and just plain gross, and I find it seriously odd a doctor in this field would not use the proper anatomic terms. I have been going to Dr. Bowers since I was pregnant with my first born. My first born is now 17. Dr. Bowers has always taken his time on answering my health questions and helping me with treatment. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
