The place was completely gutted in 2006 and was rebuilt again. The restaurant is famous for its wonderful oysters, seafood platter and shrimps. It takes pride in using the freshest ingredients and the catch of the day is always worth trying out. You can also book private parties at this venue.

Very good spot to eat. Great food, great location out of the way. Only complaint is that they're always busy. Sometimes it's hard to find a table to eat at.

The oysters are great, but don't like having to go and get them yourself.
Bowens Island restaurant has some of the best food. I would also recommend it for any event you might need. My son and his wife had their wedding reception there last year. The food was outstanding, the cost reasonable, and Robert made sure we were well taken care of. Great place all around!
This place is well hidden, but once you find it you'll love it .
